Having read in the AVL News about the unfortunate fire in a garage on Bramley Green - in view of the roadside parking, was the fire appliance able to reach to fire without difficulty ? Well done for giving us a picture of the incident.

One of AVL's roving reporters , i.e. a neighbour of mine, happened to be passing while taking her dog for a walk (no, not Rover) and took the photo!

there was another garage/car fire in Wayside a few years back, quite a coincidence for such a small road.

The garage on fire last Saturday actually belongs to a house in Rowan Way and happened due to work being done on a motor bike in the garage. The previous car fire in Wayside Road a couple of years back was arson in the early hours of the morning.

A new, more spectacular, photo of the fire has today been added to the news item.
