In the light of the revelations yesterday over the Angmering Garden City proposal a number of questions:

Firstly, did any members of APC know of this prior to their publication yesterday?

Secondly, if they did, why has it been concealed from local residents?

Thirdly, if they didn't, how does APC feel about this erosion of trust in locally elected Councillors?

No doubt there are further issues which other subscribers to this Forum might wish to raise.

Dear Derek

The Parish Council were invited by Arun to a briefing meeting at which consultants would explain a first draft of a vision statement for Angmering. We were given a copy only a few days before the meeting. The Clerk and Chairman attended this briefing and expressed deep concern that all the work of the Neighbourhood Plan Groups which documented the wishes of the people of Angmering was not being taken into account in the study.
At the conclusion of the meeting ADC advised that the draft was confidential at this time to those at the meeting and was going to be revised to a final draft by the end of March at which time it would be available for the public to see.
