At a meeting of the Joint Eastern Arun Area Committee in March you indicated that the Parish Council was working on the removal of the Pinch Points to ease traffic flow through the village. How's it going?

The initial study for the. Traffic scheme for Angmering has been done and we are now awaiting a meeting with WSCC later this year to discuss the findings and to work towards an initial design which we hope will include the removal of the pinch points. This then leads to a detailed design and costings and hopefully inclusion in the work programme for building within 2 to 3 years. Further updates will be made in reports to the PC meetings as and when progress is made. Thant you for your interest in this project.
