Could you please tell me if you have a date for the Traffic Calming scheme on Bramley Green to commence/ I have lived here for 2 years now and was told that the work was imminent when we moved in!! The speed at which people drive up and down Nursery Road inparticular is ridiculous and needs to be addressed before a child is seriously hurt. Parking is also a joke and I sometimes find it hard to believe the places that some people deem it safe and sensible to park!!
These roads are being dealt with by West Sussex County Council and the Developers of the Houses on Bramley Green. The project for the work went out to tender some weeks ago. The Parish office is following up with WSCC to find out the current status and if a start date has yet been agreed. Once we have this information we will post this on the Parish website as well as replying on the Forum.
I am finally able to advise that the date for the start of the roadworks on Bramley Green will be 2nd January 2013.The contractors will be advising all those affected by the works during December. Once this work is completed and signed off by WSCC then the road adoption can be completed. The Parish office will be in contact with the contractors and will be able to give any relevant updates when available
