Has anyone noticed the number of potholes that have appeared recently? There's a big one on the junction of Chantryfield Road and Arundel Road, and I think there's one starting at the junction of the High Street and The Square, opposite the pub. And as for the state of Station Road............... |

Rosebud, at the Parish Council Meeting last month, County Counciilor Deborah Urquhart stated that because of the bad weather conditions over the Winter (and especially in February), WSCC had allocated a million pounds to fill potholes. She also stated that, if found, people should contact the County Council.
Unfortunately, the Parish Council for some reason did not think this worth recording in their minutes of the meeting. I think that it is very poor that our County Councillor takes the trouble of going to a PC meeting (especially as she has sustained an injury recently making travelling difficult) and the PC could not fully report what she has to say!
If you have found a pothole that requires attention, phone WSCC on 01243-642105 or go to the WSCC website (Roads & Transport page) and use their online "Fault Report Form".

The Councillor didn't sustain her injury by tripping over one of the many potholes in the District by any chance? My infant grand daughter did & broke her arm but WSCC couldn't give a toss & the defective pavement still hasn't been repaired several months later. |

I have also damaged a very expensive alloy wheel & expensive at Chandlers having it sorted - do the council care?! I also see a poor cyclist sustained awful injuries falling off his bike on a pothole in West Sussex, can see a major law suit developing there. |
