Rumour has it that Café Feliz has been sold. It's closed today but not sure when its re-opens. Allegedly bought by a man who has just retired from the army.
I heard last week - they have sold the cafe and the flat above but are moving elsewhere in the village. I think the new owner will re-open the cafe in a few days time.
We will miss Carla's cooking very much but we'll try the place again once it reopens.
Met new owner, Martin, and his son, Lewis, this morning. Nice people. Hope that villagers will support their new venture and use their café.
Just to get the café up and running and to build up experience, they will be keeping things the same at present. They will probably extend the opening hours in the New Year.
They will be open for the Traders' Christmas Evening on Wednesday. Do visit them and try one of their bacon butties which they will be selling on Wednesday night.
