There seems to be a lot of confusion over where the Angmering boundary runs in the south of the parish. I will try and describe it:

Starting on the eastern side of Roundstone Farm on the southern side of the A259 with the ASDA site (in Ferring) immediately to the east, the boundary goes directly south and over the railway line to take in a large field (this was the location of the historic Ecclesden Lakes). At the western end of the field, the boundary heads directly north, over the railway line until it comes to the Old Worthing Road.

The boundary follows that road down to the Roundstone railway crossing. All houses to the north of the road are in Angmering and those to the south are in East Preston.

The boundary then follows the railway line westwards until it comes to the Angmering Station railway crossing where the boundary runs north again up to the middle of the Station Road roundabout. At the roundabout the boundary turns west and runs along the centre of the A259 dual-carriageway (New Road) to the centre of the Rustington Golf Centre roundabout (the Golf Centre is also in Angmering).

At that point, the boundary runs south again to the centre of the railway bridge (Mill Lane or Windmill Bridge) where it turns west and follows the railway line for nearly 3/4 mile to about 100 yards past Brook Lane on the by-pass. Here it turns north-east and runs to the western edge of Decoy Woods before turning north-west and coming up on the west side of The Vinery on the A27 which is also in Angmering.
