CRICKETERS PREPARE FOR 2013 SEASON
Angmering Cricket Club have confirmed their first ever ‘cricket club week’ which will take place at the end of May, with an aim of involving all members and promoting the club to the wider community. A highly prestigious away fixture at Arundel Castle (where Sussex Country Cricket Club play) against Arundel Grasshoppers will kick off the cricket week on Saturday the 25th of May, before home fixtures against Portslade on Sunday the 26th and a 20/20 match with Mid Sussex on Tuesday the 28th of May.
The club have also completed their summer fixture schedule and have a batch of pre season nets organised at Arundel Castle, both for their junior and senior sides.
The club are also encouraging new juniors aged between 10 and 16 to come along and try their hand at cricket, even if they have never played the game before. The team will be having some pre season practice sessions and any interested juniors are welcome to come along. The junior side will be playing a mix of league and friendly fixtures and would love to see new juniors at the club.
