anyone know why we have traffic counters in and out of the village? Those rubber strips across the road by the school and near the bypass. Is the WSCC counting traffic flows through the village to prove that the road can cope?
They are in Water Lane too! Suspect WSCC are trying to prove the village can cope with all traffic when the proposed new developers get their planning applications approved!
SAV did their own survey at peak times a few weeks ago (not just numbers but elements of registrations to see where traffic went) so it will be interesting to see how the figures compare (if WSCC's are ever published)
