Since moving to the area, I'm looking for help from you guys regarding where can I advertise a business in the local area. Even if it's jut a list of the local shops with boards in the window I would be most grateful
In addition to the AVL Traders' page (of which you are already aware), you might try the local monthly magazines "All About Angmering" and "All About Rustington". Call editor Helen Holt on 01273-732993 for advertising rates etc.
Sainsbury's might still take cards behind the checkouts. I think the Co-op in the village also takes a few cards.
Café Feliz in the village used to have a tray near the window where there were a number of local business cards deposited.
You could try a leaflet drop in certain areas or have an insert delivered with local free papers, but it would cost you.
