Ecclesden Park Footpath - Cllr. Verrinder commented on the lack of footpaths connecting the South of Water Lane development to the village. She wanted to know what ADC were going to do about it as it was putting lives at risk. Cllr. Urquhart commented that she had also brought this up at planning meetings and Cllr. Marsh explained the safely issues it was causing. Cllr. Cooper commented that there will be footpaths but work still needs to be done to make it happen. He was very aware of the situation and wanted to get it addressed as soon as possible. He is working towards a resolution and there will be a safe link to the village. Cllr. Cooper said that this had been an error in planning conditions imposed by ADC.
Fletcher's Field Play Area - RESOLUTION: Cllr. L Hamilton-Steet PROPOSED that a maximum of £15k be put into the project for the delivery of a play park that is fit for 20 years use. To include flooring, fencing and equipment and that if anything on day one is not of such a standard, APC will not pay until it is put right and is fit for purpose. Cllr. Community Grants- RESOLUTION: Cllr.
L Hamilton-Street PROPOSED that a sum of £250.00 was granted to St
Barnabas House, Cllr. Reigate SECONDED, and ALL AGREED.

Potential Village Sculpture - The roundabouts in Angmering were suggested as possible venues to site a sculpture. Cllr. Bicknell mentioned that the roundabouts were already sponsored and it may be an opportunity to reach out to the sponsors to ask if they would like to co-fund this project. Cllr. N Hamilton-Street said APC needs a definite cost to produce a sculpture as well as a cost for securing it in the ground and how this would be done. She also commented that grants for the Arts were now becoming available. All present agreed that the project should be pursued.

The Stone Room, the pizza and pasta restaurant in The Square, yesterday (Saturday) announced that they are now providing breakfasts on Saturdays and Sundays. Opening times will be the same on both days - 8.30am to last bookings at 10.45am - and last orders at 11am.
Bookings can be made by the same methods as at present; online through Dish Cult, the reserve option on The Stone Room's Facebook page, by telephone on 01903 770685, or directly, by visiting the premises. Walk-ins will also be taken when availability allows. However, they strongly recommend in the early weeks of opening for Breakfast that you book to avoid disappointment.
The Stone Room will offer cooked breakfast variations, as well as lighter options. In-house made smoothies, juices, speciality teas and coffees will also be on offer. There is also a Childrens breakfast deal, including fresh fruit and juice. All food allergies and Intolerances are catered for with vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options.
Angmering Village Greens have today (Sunday) announced that, because of rising costs, low footfall and parking difficulties, 'by the end of October' they will only be offering a delivery service.

Angmering Parish Council is seeking a well-organised, enthusiastic, adaptable and approachable person, with the ability to relate well to people of all ages. Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills, Microsoft Office/Excel experience, and be able to take on a multitude of office tasks.
The Administrator will have a varied role, providing admin support to the Parish Clerk and Office Manager, being the first point of contact i.e. reception duties, managing the general inbox, coordinating responses to resident queries, arranging meetings, taking minutes and supporting the upkeep of the website and social media pages. A knowledge of council procedures will be an advantage, but full training will be given. You will be required to assist with some evening council meetings and helping with events (often held at weekends).

Angmering In Bloom - The representative from AIB advised that the team were now starting to swap over the beds to winter planting. Over one thousand bulbs have been ordered and planting would be taking place soon, three main areas have been identified. The Angmering Rotary Club have also expressed an interest in helping to plant the bulbs.
Angmering Amble Saturday 10 September- This event had to be cancelled due to the sad passing of The Queen. After discussion it was agreed to re-arrange the event for April 2023.
Fred Rowley Award Name Board- After discussion it was agreed by all that a board should be put in place. The board will look similar, but more modern, to the boards currently located in the King Suite at Angmering Village Hall. The location of the board was discussed and it was agreed that the ideal location would be the Angmering Community Centre, if this was not possible then to put the board with the other boards in the King Suite.

The Coppice/Angmering Medical Centre group has said that, with regard to its own patients, the clinics are being run by IPC (Innovations In Primary Care) who will be operating out of Angmering Medical Centre on Saturdays. You may have received a letter or communication inviting you to book you Autumn Booster. Please call 0333 370 4111 to book this as the surgery is not dealing with this bookings/appointments.
