- Quiet Waters Close -- In the early hours of Monday 9 May a vehicle was broken into and a wallet was stolen. The suspect was also seen trying to gain access to a second vehicle. Serial 0181 16/05.
- Dappers Lane -- In the early hours of Friday 13 May a residence was burgled. Electronic equipment, bags and a vehicle were stolen. Serial 0220 13/05.
Earlier this year, an information suite opened in Rustington for Angmering Grange, the new 74 bed care home which will provide residential, nursing and dementia care and create 100 jobs locally.
Whilst the home is being built in Angmering, the information suite, situated at 11 Sea Lane, Rustington, will be open Monday Saturday, 9am-5pm. At the information suite, visitors will get the opportunity to ask the Angmering Grange Care Home team, any questions they have about the home or employment opportunities and get an idea of what the new home will look like once completed.
Opening in late autumn 2022, Angmering Grange on Pound Place, Roundstone Lane will feature award-winning design innovations and home comforts. Facilities will include; an ice cream parlour, cinema, therapy room, hair salon, and reminiscence room. Each bedroom will be elegantly furnished, have an en-suite bathroom and those on the ground floor will have access to their own patio. Other communal areas comprise of a café, garden room, outdoor roof terrace and several dining rooms which will enable relatives to have a meal with their loved ones on occasion. Angmering Grange will also have 16 luxurious suites with a lounge, fully-fitted kitchenette, a dining area and a large en-suite.

Angmering commenced its celebrations of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at midday today (Bank Holiday Monday) when a Jubilee flag was raised outside Angmering Village Hall. Village Hall Flagmaster, Roger Miles, gave a welcoming address and explained the significance of the celebrations, particularly for the younger generation in our community. The event was attended by the chair of Angmering Parish Council, Nikki Hamilton-Street.

Kai Olliver-Page, a student at The Angmering School, undertook the inaugural raising of the Platinum Jubilee Flag on behalf of the community, accompanied by Charlie Roswell, a pupil at St Margaret's CoE Primary School, and by Emily Lambert, a pupil at St Wilfrid's RC Primary School.
Charlie will continue the celebration at midday on Spring Bank Holiday, Thursday 2 June, which is the exact day 69 years on when Queen Elizabeth II was crowned. He will raise the Union Flag which is the traditional commemoration of the day. Emily will hold centre stage when her moment arrives the following Sunday at 5.00pm to conclude this unique extended Bank Holiday event. She will have the honour of re-raising the Platinum Jubilee Flag which will remain aloft until 31 December 2022.
