Angmering Cricket Club prepare for 2019 season

After welcoming new players throughout 2018 and ending last season on a high with victory at Lancing Manor, Angmering Cricket Club are looking forward to the 2019 season.

The 2018 end of season awards evening in November saw the following claim awards:

The club have arranged a full fixtures schedule for 2019 with matches starting in the second half of April. The club will play a number of new sides, including Warninglid and Goring Seniors along with a trip to local side Findon. The club will also renew acquaintances with regular rivals Rodmell, Old Barn and Preston Park.

Three pre-season practice nets will be held at Arundel Castle cricket ground on Sunday 24th, Sunday 31st March and Sunday 7th April from 3pm to 4.30pm.

The club are keen to welcome new players of all ages and abilities. Anyone interested in joining the side should contact Phil Mitchell on 07828 523409.

Clearance work for dual-carriageway has started. Hedges and trees have been removed.
