How about democracy in the village? Maybe some elected rather than co-opted councillors, and a properly elected CLT, rather than another bunch of cronies.

Circular delivered this morning regarding CLT indicates that it's likely Parish Council will have a representative on the Board. Fair enough.
Let's hope, however, that influence of Parish Council won't be strengthened by individual Councillors standing in a 'private' capacity.
