Further to my postings about Major George Chaplin, the article on his father, Clement Chaplin, has now reached a stage that it can be published although I hope to be able to add to it during the next month if further information and photos come to hand.
Clement Chaplin was Angmering's sole doctor for 41 years, a member of the parish council for some 34 years, and its chairman for 25 years. He was also involved with other village organisations.
