It does get in the way. Like the cars that park on the corner as you turn in from Roundstone Lane to Nursery Road. I think that's the sort of area where one of the two new roads will come out as well. Looking at the Barrett plans there is a small batch of houses which will have direct access on to Roundstone Lane. What's the betting there won't be enough parking and they'll end up parking on Roundstone Lane as well.
