Regular readers will know that we plan to replace the weather station with a newer, more accurate and relaible unit.
The good news, is that we have it in our hands
, and it is now on test (as you can see from these links):

It will probably be a few weeks before we get it moved into it's final location and fully plumbed in to the server, as it's going to need a bit more reworking on the server than I was hoping for!

The new AVL weather station went live at the weekend. You can now expect more accurate readings.
