This is the usual way APC does things. First meeting is largely an annual report by the Chairman and the Clerk's Financial Report. Unlike normal monthly APC meetings, you can actually ask the Chairman a question after all reports have been given.
The second meeting is generally like a normal AGM with the election of a Chairman and Vice-Chairman, and appointments to Committees etc. PLUS some items from a normal monthly PC meeting.
The first is usually quite civil. The second often less so!
Perhaps someone else can provide the reason for the necessity for two meetings. I think that you are not the only "Confused of Angmering" Roosterbri! |
