If the CLT has not yet been formed, why have two people been having talks with ADC as representatives of the trust and why is there an 'invitation only' meeting in the Vestry Hall tomorrow night. I understand that at least 5 councillors have been invited (incl. APC Chairman) but only a couple of members of the public. What happened to everyone who expressed an interest in the trust, were they invited or is this another expression of 'openness'. |

Surely that should read 5 members of the public who happen to be councillors + one other who happens to be the Parish Clerk, otherwise people might think that the Community Land Trust was APC led, something they have denied. |

However you wish to describe them this does lend weight, if any was needed, that the CLT could be heavily infiltrated by Parish Councillors.
The emphasis should be on the word Community. Given the level of contempt which the Parish Council constantly displays to the community, any loading by their representatives is really not a positive move forward. The CLT is in danger of being perceived as equally unrepresentative and should therefore think carefully about their representation. Or, perhaps, they do not care.
It's not some secret society, although you'd be forgiven for thinking so.
