On the News page, some days ago, we had the report of a serious criminal incident having taken place on 14th June in Station Road.

On looking at the Policing page on this website, there is no mention of this incident having occurred, during that particular week.

This is rather strange, as the incident was reported as being quite serious.

Yes, I also noticed that at the time.

Perhaps the Parish Council, as an official body, could pursue this with the Police as I suspect incidents of this nature may be excluded from their statistics which they disseminate to local communities.
