Angmeringite, I've been away for a couple of weeks and have just come back to see all your postings, and have also received complaints from some members.

A political discussion on the Chit-Chat Formum is one thing but I'm afraid that these Forums were never intended to be a place to constantly peddle an individual's political views. Could you please refrain from doing so. Thanks.

For those who do not know what has happened here, Angmeringite created a topic on 29 March "How do we think the coalition government is doing" or something very close to that. I don't recall exactly what he (and I presume it's a he) actually wrote but it certainly was not "Very selective editing". However, it was just another posting aimed at creating a political debate to push his political views. I don't have a problem with a debate on the Chit-Chat Forum on political issues but I had received numerous complaints about his continual posting of anti-government web links. I asked him to refrain from this.

Nearly 5 months on, Angmeringite has gone back and edited both subject and content and altered the subject to "How do we think this website is doing". Altering postings after 30 minutes of posting is against the Angmering Forum rules.

The alterations he has made have made nonsense of the two successive postings and his actions have treated members with contempt. If he had a beef with the action I took on behalf of members, he should have made these known back in April.

I have asked Angmeringite to justify his actions but he obviously has no intention of doing so. I therefore must assume that he does not want to abide by Forum Rules and does not want to continue his membership.

I should perhaps make it clear that I do not support any political party.

Hello Neil

I think you have been more than patient. If any editing was going on all the political rants could/should have been eliminated.
