| Just passed 3 buses within 200yds of each other on Worthing Road, East Preston. Almost nose to tail, two single then one double decker, all going the same way. Are they called 700 because there are 700 of them, I wonder ?? |

The 700 buses that go to Chichester and beyond have been seriously delayed due to road works at North Bersted. I think there are also road works somewhere to the east of Worthing that are causing delays.
This means that buses are bunching up and no doubt also getting caught up with the 700 that only goes as far as Arundel.
Took us 95 minutes getting back from Chichester to Angmering Station on Friday on the 700 service. When we got to Littlehampton, we we turfed off onto another 700 and the one we were previously on was taken out of service, obviously to prevent bunching. Went to Chi on the No. 84 from the village centre which took only 50 minutes. |
